Drupal 7 – Easier and more powerful than ever | drupal.org.
I love WordPress, but I keep my eye on Drupal. Actually, I keep both of my eyes on Drupal. Drupal 7 is a big deal. There is lots to check out, lots to learn from, and lots that’s different.
I seriously have a goal of building a site in Drupal (that’s the only way to get a real opinion) but haven’t had the chance quite yet. Needless to say, Drupal 7 (or later) is going to make that experience that much better.

I really think you’ll like it. I’m from a mostly-design background, and Drupal has helped me begin loving programming. Good programming = good design, in my book 🙂
I’m also with Jeff in saying that I think you’ll like it Jonathan and would love to hear your thoughts on it when you get a chance to try it out.
Drupal 7 is fantastic, they’ve really stepped it up for this release and fixed many of the issues that plagued with Drupal 6.
I’ve been using Drupal for a while, and am very excited about this release.
As a fellow WordPresser, I’ve been keeping a keen eye on Drupal 7 as well. As you begin to develop a site in Drupal it would be interesting to hear your perspective. Are there certain pitfalls and gotcha’s to watch out for? What are some of your favorite learning resources? Are there certain lessons that you think WordPress could adopt while continuing to grow?
