This is awesome and worth your time to read if you’re a front end developer. The front end space, although expanding faster than anything, is super exciting in that the problems to solve are really unique. Performance concerns can be addressed in a number of ways, and seeing a documented approach like this is awesome.

The walkthrough of the steps taken and the tests performed is a nice overview of a workflow for optimizing the front end to gain every millisecond you can.
