Social etiquette is a necessary focus every day of our lives. It’s one of those things that’s rarely talked about in our industry and instead people are simply labeled any number of vulgarities and we move on. The topic is awkward but this article is well thought out on a specific circumstance. Conferences are full of engaged people all wanting to make the best use of time with people they’re unlikely to see in person again soon (if at all) so keeping these few points in mind as you contemplate raising your hand is good advice.
