I don’t know about you but I love a good bug-hunting story. This is the best one I’ve read in some time. The author goes into extreme detail to ensure we’ve got enough context to problem solve with him and I really appreciated it as a good read (even though it was based on Rails and not everything made complete sense).
Reading stories like this is really valuable to me because of two things:
- You follow someone else’s thought process and bug tracking process start to finish
- The solution often helps you out at some point down the line
