This is wicked exciting to me. I know I’ve been talking a lot about alternative image editors so as to avoid the Adobe machine, but the fact of it is I still use Photoshop every single day at work. While I hope to someday convert to something more lean, it’s not happening any time soon.

Do you remember that awesome Adobe demo from not long ago for Adobe Brackets? The one that completely bridged the gap between Photoshop and writing code? If you missed it take a gander:

As of Photoshop CC 14.1 (available to all CC customers) we get a chunk of this functionality today!

I’m curious how it’ll fit into my workflow, and to be a wicked timesaver I’d need to ask Kevin to modify his workflow a bit (which introduces even more complexity in him having to read my mind in how I’d want each asset to be exported) but I’m most excited that this has turned into something tangible today.
