Talks like these fascinate me. I personally have not gotten so far into frame rate performance testing to make use of the (awesome looking) dev tools that support such a practice, but I want to. I really enjoyed hearing from two of the engineers that actually deal with the low level implementations of browser rendering, there are some overarching tips that can be super helpful.

It’s weird how important this has become because of how little attention span we have. If Google is optimized to load a page 1/2 a second better than Firefox, I’m probably going to go with google. At least that’s how my website is, anyways.
