I remember vividly the first time I ran through The Browser Gauntlet after getting my first Mac. I was astounded by the difference in type rendering on my test Windows machine and wished everyone was able to see better rendered type. Browsers have progressed even further and now it’s to the point where I wish everyone in the world used something WebKit based because I much prefer it to the way Gecko handles antialiasing.

I like this quick tip about keeping in control of the type of antialiasing used in WebKit even though it’s WebKit specific and to speak of such things is disastrous to the entire world and all that. It’s good to know.
