While I’m not enveloped in startup culture, a founding principle of ours when starting Iron to Iron was to not end up in that boat. The story of working ridiculous hours with a family at home was all too familiar and we didn’t want to let that happen. There’s more to life than work, guys, we know that. That doesn’t change the fact that you can bust your butt for eight hours a day and get just as much out the door as the next guy.
Work is important, but retaining it’s place in the overall order of importance of things can quickly get out of whack if it’s not on your mind all the time.
