Stop paying your jQuery tax.

A small bit of link bait in the headline, but it likely applies to all of us. Client side optimizations have been an awesome topic over the past couple of years, and it’s something I plan on devoting the majority of my time toward should the opportunity present itself. I’ve been reading a lot about optimizing the client side for a better user experience (not to mention the benefits that can trickle down to the back end) and this bookmark goes in the list.

Admittedly much of this testing can’t take place on projects I have personal access to, so studying theory and reading about the processes other developers have adopted are my primary modes of research. Good stuff here.
