Collectively we don’t talk too much about the business end of things. Truthfully I think it’s because we all hate it and would rather talk about the work, the clients, the processes, and the outcomes. That doesn’t mean the business details are any less important, however. Many people think about starting their own thing at some point down the line, so even if you’re happily employed but have that slight twinge of wanting to open your own business some day, advice like this is worth it’s weight in gold.
