This is an appropriate follow-up to an earlier post, although it was written prior to it. I often wonder how different things would be if everyone did what they really wanted to do. Please don’t get me wrong, I completely understand that there are some very good reasons for people not doing perhaps what they wanted to do as a child. I completely understand that as responsible adults we often make sacrifices for those we love and put our dreams in an alternate place while we care for the ones we love, I sincerely understand and appreciate that.
The great thing about our modern day is the ability to explore with a very little amount of commitment. Diving in full time straight away is, honestly, a very rare circumstance, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t pursue things you may be interested in. Absolutely family comes first, but I’d be willing to bet you could go without that hour of TV or even an hour of sleep so as to dip your toe in the water of something new.
